Miss Selfridge fashion haul

I had a little online splurge at MissSelfridge.com the other day as I wanted to pick up some new clothes for Spring that could also work for those chilly days when tights are called for (thanks to our unreliable English weather!). I made sure to select things that I can dress up or down and can be worn for work, play or a summer vacation and I think I just about managed it! I’m only 5ft 3″ and find I can rely on Miss Selfridge for petite wear that fits and they always have lots of pretty feminine clothes.

K took the photographs for me on a pretty dull day so despite the bamboo in the background my garden looks rather drizzly so I apologise for the grim looking photos! I styled my hair in a milkmaid braid as I was attending my cousin’s baby boy’s christening later in the day. You may recognise the Miss Selfridge Abstract Tee Dress from my Weekend round-up #1 as I wore it to the christening too. I also paired the Miss Selfridge Embellished Tee with a Zara skirt in this week’s Easter round-up here. It’s such a versatile piece!

I’ve had so much wear out of these clothes already – minus the playsuit below which I am saving for a sunny day down Bournemouth beach matched with sandals and sunglasses or a night out with heels and a statement necklace. I hope my outfits have given you some inspiration! There’s so many nice bits at Miss Selfridge at the moment so make sure to pay them a visit. Just try and hold on to the purse strings!

  1. Your hair style looks very pretty. It has the casual “I just through this together but doesn’t it look marvelously perfect” look. Like that polka print top, too. 🙂
